J. Justin Martin
Senior VP of Acquisitions
Justin Martin oversees underwriting, due diligence, and financing for real estate acquisitions. Mr. Martin has over 20 years of public and private investment experience. Previously, Mr. Martin led acquisitions at Urban Muse, a real estate development firm in New York City, where he was responsible for the acquisition and development of over $300 million of residential real estate. Before that, Mr. Martin was as an Associate at Youngwoo & Associates, where he was responsible for the underwriting and development of $250 million of residential and commercial real estate assets. Prior to that, Mr. Martin was Vice President of Development at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, where he oversaw the planning and development of over three million square feet of commercial and industrial space. Previously, Mr. Martin served as an Associate at Zephyr Management, where he led investments in real estate tax credits, tax exempt bonds and related affordable housing projects.
Mr. Martin holds M.S. degrees in Real Estate Development and Historic Preservation from Columbia University and a B.A. degree in English and History from George Mason University.
